FAQ’s – Debit Cards

If you selected to receive your debit card in the mail, you should get it within 10 business days from the date of order. The pin number will come in a separate envelope. Please be advised, as added security, the Bank of Tennessee logo will not be visible on the outside of the envelope.

If you know your current pin, you can change to a new pin at any of our ATM machines, or stop into any branch location and we can change the pin for you.

During business hours, please contact us as soon as possible at 866.378.9500. If you need assistance after business hours, please call 800.500.1044.

Please stop by any branch location and we can print a new card, we call it InstaCard!

Yes, on a personal deposit account, the cash limit per day is $500 and the point of sale limit is $2,000. A business debit card has a daily point of sale limit of $2,000 and a $0 cash withdraw.

If you need a temporary increase on your card, please contact your Relationship Manager, stop by any branch location, or contact our Customer Care department at 866.378.9500

Yes, we can link all your personal accounts to the same personal debit card and if you have multiple accounts for your business, we can link those to your business card.

FAQ’s – checks

Once an order is placed for checks, you should receive them within 10-14 days, unless you’ve opted for expedited shipping.

You can place check re-orders quickly and efficiently through our Business Online Banking system, including access to view our full catalog. You can also contact your Relationship Manager to place an order.

Please contact us immediately if you believe your check book is missing or stolen at 866.378.9500. We’ll make sure the missing checks are stopped and help set up a new account number to avoid potential fraud.

Placing a stop payment is easier than ever through Business Online Banking, just click on the Services menu, and Stop Payments to get started. You can also contact our Customer Care center at 866.378.9500.

Bank of Tennessee takes your security seriously. With losses from check fraud increasing each year, fraud control is a major concern for businesses everywhere. With Positive Pay, the ultimate fraud prevention tool, you will notify the bank of all the checks written by your company. Any checks that are not on the approved list will come to you for approval before clearing your account.

After you’ve completed and returned our Business Online Banking Agreements, you should receive a Welcome email from our Customer Care center with your online credentials within 24 business hours.

Of course, Bank of Tennessee Business Online Banking includes Business Bill Pay, and it’s free!

Typically, our business deposit account statements drop on the last business day of the month.

  • If you have opted for a paper statement, you should get it in the mail the between 5-7 business days
  • If you’ve requested e-statements via Business Online Banking, you should be able to access the statement after the 1st of the following month or within 2 business days.

After you’ve logged into your Business Online Banking account, you can change your statement preferences by clicking on the “Settings” menu, then click ” Statement Delivery” and simply change your delivery type from Paper to E-Statements.

FAQ’s – Loans

Bank of Tennessee can help your business with any financial needs you may face. No matter how big or small your business is. We’re here for you. Contact your Relationship Manager for more details.

We offer a 15 day grace period for all Business loans with the exception of Lines of Credit and HELOC loans. Please contact your Relationship Manager to discuss your options.

Typically, after a new loan is booked, it cannot be refinanced for 6 months after signing. Please contact your Relationship Manager to discuss your options.

There is typically no early pay off or penalty fee, please contact your Relationship Manager to discuss your loan product specifically.

We are not required by the government to produce a 1098 for a Commercial Loan. If you need to get your prior years interest information etc, please contact your Relationship Manager, or our Customer Care department at 866.378.9500.

As standard practice, loans obtained strictly for business purposes don’t appear on consumer credit reports.

Payments can be made at any branch location, via Business Online Banking or via automatic transfer, if the account your paying from is also with Bank of Tennessee. Click below to access the Automatic Transfer Authorization form. Just complete the form and return it to us.
