Job Duties

Building Mountain Community Bank’s market in North Carolina through the expansion of current client relationships, development of new client relationships, and connecting clients with our banking services, loans, and the greater community to foster meaningful growth of our community.

Education

Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Family

I am blessed to be married to Robert Willis, and together, we have three handsome sons, River, William, and Sullivan.

Volunteer Activities

President of Avery County Chamber of Commerce, Member of Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce, Alumni of Avery County’s Leadership Avery Program, and Kiwanis Club Member. Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity. Team Captain and Participant in Relay for Life. Member of United Methodist Church and Steven’s Minister Crisis Counseling Provider for United Methodist Church. Former Board Member of Avery County Humane Society. Vice-Chair of the Wolly Worm Fesitval which is North Carolina’s designated state festival.

Fun Facts About Me

My favorite pastime is restoring old homes, and we are currently restoring a 126-year-old farmstead in Newland, NC. My husband and I love antiquing and watching our children participate in sports.  I adore fine art, architecture, and history.  Fishing, swimming, and watching funny movies together are our favorite activities as a family. I also love to cook.
