Carter County Bank is thrilled to announce that Evan Carter, esteemed left fielder for the Texas Rangers, will be returning home to Elizabethton, TN to light the Frasier Fir tree and kick off the Christmas season. The event will take place on Saturday, November 18 at 824 East Elk Avenue and is free and open to the public.
Andrew McKeehan, President of Carter County Bank, expressed his excitement over Evan’s homecoming and the opportunity to celebrate the Christmas season with him. “Each year, our committee discusses who to invite to light the tree. We try to pick someone who has contributed to the community, and he is a shining example of Carter County and the people who live here. We are so proud of his success and can’t wait to celebrate with him.”
Evan Carter is a beloved hometown hero who has achieved great success in his career. He has served as an inspiration to the community and has always given back to those around him. His return home is a perfect example of his continued commitment to the people of Elizabethton.
The event promises to be a festive occasion, with the tree lighting serving as a symbol of unity and community. The public is invited to join in this celebration and share in the joy of the holiday season.
