Bank of Tennessee Welcomes Richard Stone as President – Middle Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bank of Tennessee is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Stone as President of the Middle Tennessee market, effective immediately. Stone brings more than 20 years of banking and financial services experience to the role, and is recognized for his innovative leadership, deep community engagement, and commitment to delivering tailored banking solutions. Over his career, Stone has spearheaded numerous regional growth initiatives and is known for fostering collaborative teams dedicated to excellence.

As President – Middle Tennessee, Stone will oversee all aspects of Bank of Tennessee’s operations and growth strategy in the region, including branch network management, commercial lending, and community partnerships.

Prior to joining Bank of Tennessee, Stone served in executive leadership roles at several prominent financial institutions, where he led major business development efforts, launched innovative lending products, and built lasting partnerships with commercial and nonprofit clients. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and financial economics. Stone is an active board member of STARS Nashville, trustee for the Murfreesboro Community Investment Trust, a member of the Rotary Club of Nashville, supports the many local Chambers of Commerce, and volunteers regularly with youth education and economic empowerment initiatives throughout the community.
