Bank of Tennessee is pleased to announce the appointment of Kenneth “Ken” Raff II as President of Washington County, effective April 7, 2025. Ken brings over 25 years of established banking experience, a deep understanding of the Tri-Cities market, and a proven track record in commercial lending.
Kenneth “Ken” Raff Ken joins us from Eclipse Bank, where he served as CEO of the Tennessee Region. His impressive career includes leadership roles at prominent banks such as Commercial Bank, Truist, and Mountain Commerce Bank, where he showcased his expertise by managing significant commercial lending portfolios.
“I’ve grown up and lived in Johnson City since 1990. All my life, Bank of Tennessee has been the premier bank in this area. I couldn’t be more excited to work for Washington County’s hometown bank,” said Ken Raff.
As President, Ken will oversee all operations at the Washington County locations, focusing on leadership, direction, and public representation, while driving growth in commercial and small business lending. He will work on developing strategies to attract new business while nurturing relationships with existing customers to enhance service delivery and profitability.
Ken graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies and furthered his education by attending LSU’s Graduate School of Banking. He remains actively involved in the community by teaching students at ETSU’s School of Banking.
Accompanying Ken on this new venture is Brandon Farmer, who will serve as Relationship Manager. Brandon brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in commercial lending, having started his banking career in 2011. He has successfully managed large portfolios and has a strong background in client relationship management. Brandon is poised to play a key role in driving business growth in Washington County.
Brandon attended Northeast State Community College and Walters State Community College, graduating from King College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He has also completed specialized training in commercial lending.
