In light of Haynes’ retirement, Bank of Tennessee is pleased to appoint Jared Palazzola as the new President of the Knoxville branch, effective October 14, 2024. Palazzola, who has been an integral part of the Bank of Tennessee team for over seven years under Haynes’ mentorship, is well-prepared to lead the Knoxville market into its next phase of diversification and growth.

Palazzola brings significant experience to his new position, having joined the Bank of Tennessee in March 2017 as a Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager. With a robust banking career that began in 2006, he has held key positions at FSG Bank and First Century Bank. His extensive background and commitment to excellence make him an ideal successor to build on the strong foundation established by Haynes.

“First, congratulations to David Haynes on a remarkable career with Bank of Tennessee, and many thanks for establishing our presence in Knoxville,” said the bank’s Chief Banking Officer Brian Ballard. “I’m very excited to see Jared Palazzola take the leadership reins for our Knoxville team, and I am confident he will successfully continue our growth in the market.”

“I look forward to the opportunity to expand our presence in the Knoxville market and working with the Knoxville team,” Palazzola added.

Bank of Tennessee is excited for this new chapter under Jared Palazzola’s leadership and is committed to continuing its dedication to excellence in service and community engagement.
