The Bristol Chamber of Commerce held their annual member luncheon on Thursday, January 23. During this meeting they awarded several leaders in the community for their hard work and dedication to the area and to the Chamber.
This year’s winner for the 2013 Leadership Service Award was Bank of Tennessee’s very own, Freddy Sullivan.

A portion of the award speech when they announced the winner:
“Volunteer engagement is a critical factor for ensuring the success of any Chamber of Commerce. Active participation by members is the most effective means of ensuring strong programs. They are the organizational strength that bolsters the spirits of our members and community.”
“The 2013 Leadership Service Award celebrates an individual for their dedication to teaching and advising. They exemplify the spirit of volunteerism by always going above and beyond, by always being the first to offer help and never, ever missing a meeting. This person truly exemplifies being an Ambassador for our Chamber and our Community and truly has the best interests of those he’s working with at heart.”
“Quietly working behind the scenes, this individual particularly enjoys working with the TN/VA Scholars picnic, whether he’s hanging banners, hauling corn hole boards, setting up or staying late to clean up. As long as Karen keeps the coffee coming, he’s willing to help in any way he can.”
“Born and raised in Southwest Virginia, dedicated to making a positive impact on the community and a valued member of Bank of Tennessee, this year’s Business and Education Volunteer of the Year is Freddy Sullivan.”
Our company is blessed to have a multitude of employees who are active and engaged in our communities. We are proud of Freddy for his extra efforts, and all our employees who go the extra mile to make our area a better place to live, work and play.
