Fraudulent Text Message Alerts


As holiday shopping rises, so does the threat of Identity Theft. Recently, we became aware of a debit card phishing scheme in our name. If you have received a text on your mobile phone with a message that your debit card needs to reactivated due to a system upgrade, please ignore. The fraudulent message asks customers to call a specific phone number with their debit card information.

Bank of Tennessee will never ask you to call us with your account or debit card information – we already have it! Please be aware that identity theft is on the rise.
