Roy Harmon
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President
Roy L. Harmon, Jr. leads Bank of Tennessee as chairman, chief executive officer and president. Harmon joined Bank of Tennessee in 1991. He has thirty years of financial services and banking experience. During his tenure with Bank of Tennessee he has also served as Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President and Senior Lending Officer.
Harmon was born July 9, 1954 in Kingsport. He graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Harmon is a member of the World Presidents Organization, Chairman of the Public Arts Committee in Kingsport and has served in many other charitable leadership roles. He also served as an Alderman for the city of Kingsport from 1997 through 2001 and Chairman of Fun Fest in 2006. He is a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
